GGS provide continuous ground-gas monitoring of former landfill sites. GGS use GasClam®, the un-manned in borehole gas monitor to provide landfill operators with the following high frequency ground-gas data:
- Methane
- Carbon dioxide
- Oxygen
- Carbon Monoxide
- Hydrogen Sulphide
- Volatile Organic Compounds
As well as measuring gas concentrations, environmental parameters such as atmospheric pressure and temperature are also measured, to indicate any driving mechanisms of the ground-gas regime.
By using continuous monitoring methods, the actual ground-gas regime within landfill can be determined. This unique service allows gas field optimisation for both power generation and flaring.
