GGS looks forward to hosting a workshop at the SoBRA summer seminar 2016

The Society of Brownfield Risk Assessment (SoBRA) is hosting its 7th annual summer workshop in Bristol on 28th June.

‘Site Investigation & Risk Assessment for Historic Landfill Redevelopment’ will cover current topics within land contamination, such as conceptual site model and site investigation, landfill gas and remediation, Part 2A, plus Landfill mining and reclamation.

Delegates can look forward to a series of presentations from the Environment Agency, Hydrock and EPG, followed by focus group discussions, including one on landfill gas facilitated by GGS’ Technical Director, John Naylor.

SoBRA’s goals are to improve technical knowledge in risk-based decision-making in contaminated land and enhance the professional status and profile of practitioners. Their summer workshop is a great opportunity to meet with like minded companies, discuss new initiatives and research, and ultimately contribute to moving the industry forwards.
